Edenderry relegated, Ballinamere deservedly won relegation play off

Ballinamere the better team and deserve to stay in the grade. The first half was tight enough but Ballinamere pulled away at the start of the second half and dominated the game until the end.
I will say in the games I’ve seen in this grade this year the standard of refs has been extremely poor , today no different,
Hard road back for Edenderry next in junior A, Ballinamere more than capable of competing and progressing further next year in intermediate.

You’d imagine Drumcullen will be the favourites.

Shamrocks could struggle to bounce back.

Rynaghs have plenty of youngsters.

Coolderry have the experience of Cathal Parlon, Corcoran brothers and Kevin Brady to call on.

Edenderry will hope to consolidate.

Seir Kieran could be light at this group.

Belmont should do ok.

Coolderry Drumcullen final for me.
You were spot on with your prediction. Not muchbetween the teams in both games last year,so hopefully it will be a good final and birr will probably suit the older players on both teams.

Don’t really have a horse in the race and I’m sure its just some admin trying to drum up a bit of parish pride, but the idea that Senior B hurling in Offaly is actually Senior hurling is probably the most egregious element of the post.

Harmless stuff made up to create a bit of interest and hype.

It’s mostly just harmless banter and trying to cope with the expected clipping in the Senior A, but some here in Coolderry are suggesting that beating Drumcullen in the intermediate is more important that the senior match against Kilcormac 😅😅

Probably more to do with the opposition than anything else.

Coolderry 3-12 Drumcullen 1-12, Drumcullen unable to hold Kevin Brady who proved the match winner scoring 2-1. Drumcullen stay in the 3rd tier of Offaly Hurling for another year, Coolderry take the win in this years final and should hold their own in Senior B.

They are, and the production line is running dry at the minute with underage teams having to join with Carrig and Crinkill.
Hard to know if Brady, Carroll, et al will want a crack at a year senior B.

Senior B is a different animal to that of intermediate. It's a lot faster.
