Naas by 10 and won pulling up. Does it in some way cast doubt over the quality of the Offaly championship currently. Also notable wins for St Lomans. Safe to say Tullamore would likely have suffered similar fate today.

Going on club form over last 10 years of so, you'd have to say that the Dublin, Westmeath and Kildare championships are producing on average, better teams to contest Leinster club.

Id safely say that currently there are no more than 4 or 5 proper senior clubs in Offaly in football, which is a shame. The standard of club action at senior A level for the last couple of years has been fairly poor and the main contending clubs waltz into the semi finals most years uncontested.
