7k sold at the moment. Should be a reasonable crowd. This is why the joe mcdonagh needs to be won. Big crowds will travel.

I’d suspect over 50% of that 7,000 is from Tipperary.

A weird game if we attack we will get beaten
If we defend we will get hammered..
Genuinely feel sorry for the management because they will get slagged of either way .
Hope springs eternal but a few scoops before might help.🥳👍

Strong tipp team named, Craig Morgan back for the first time in 9 months. 6 forwards are very strong.

No offaly team named yet. At least 3 players have left the panel.

The great Noel McGrath is getting his excuses in early . He knows well like his buddy in at #14 he's washed up, the poor hoor wants more water!
To hell with this talk of "a free shot" at them or "a respectable showing", go out da fuck and beat them.
Westmeath turned around a 17 point deficit 4 weeks ago against Wexford. Go at them, go at them again and keep going.
Nearly everyone I've asked this week is going so am expecting a big Offaly crowd here and why not?
Tipp were well beaten 3 weeks ago by a Waterford team that have been performing to a level barely above Joe McDonagh.
It's Galway 7 days later should the lads advance but lets take one step at a time.

Who has left the panel?

5 names missing from last day.
Dara Maher - suspended
David Nally - broken wrist
Dooley and Keenaghan - left the panel?
And although Jack Screeney was named on extended panel against Carlow, he had been removed from the panel weeks previous for a horror challenge on Eoghan Cahill in training.

Surprised with keenaghan walking he got significant game time ,
Dooley probably has enough for this year he was missing once or twice already

Was the screeney incident really bad sounds like he went to do cahill

Sam Burke and Charlie the only 2 from under 20 ?

Screeney, joey and Shane gone. Say shane dooley is finished now at intercounty. Very little impact for last number of years. Great service but way of the pace unfortunately. Thought Screeney was injured but there seems to be more to it.

Dooley been an outstanding servant, sad to not see him on panel til conclusion of campaign but wish him all the best if it is the end.

Keenaghan always getting minutes but was quite poor against Carlow, being taken off twice can’t be nice for anyone.

Eoghan Cahill spent a few days prior to the Carlow game in a boot.

Sam Bourke and Mitchell the only 2 20s starting.

Joe Hoctor and Cathal King from Carrig on the subs - have Carrig ever had 2 on an Offaly panel before, was there anyone else in Oakley’s time?

Luke Watkins and Mark Troy on the extended panel.

Whoever made the team graphic must have seen the name Watkins and automatically thought he was a Birr man. He is most certainly a Ballyskenach man (hurling for Shinrone) 😜.

You could argue that most of the star players from the 20s campaign are not involved. I think it speaks to the youth of that team that 1. So many are still u18 so ineligible for senior inter county and 2. That there are a few more lads at the Leaving Cert.
It would be great to see these lads making an impact at college Freshers level next year - I suspect many of them will receive scholarships which would be great to see.

That would explain why cahill wasn't showing the form he did all year in the jmcd final

Great to see Ross ravenhill back

Keily left panel early because of off field issues? I know the point has been made about the u20s having 27 players available next year for u20. Question has to be asked how is there so many and where are all the players of the age gone? Physically you need as many players up to the age as possible.
