In the SBK game it seems to be possibly closer than full time score suggests. Just the goals made a huge difference. 14 scores to 6. First half was 3-4 to 4, Think 2nd half was 1-6 to 2 points. The kk and Tullamore game was neck and neck for the whole match, with both sides in the lead multiple times over the game.

Exactly talking about 14/15 year old boys hurling which won't define them when they become adult hurlers.

Birr changed the goalkeeper just after half time when the 4th goal went in.

SBK are quite a good U15 team. They use the ball well and are well capable of playing short or long. I like their use of possession. They also have very good hurlers at 3,6, 8,9, 11 and 14. Always a huge help.

I can see them giving K/K a really good game.

I thought the very same when watching them, I think it's more important in underage to have a strong spine and SBK certainly have that. Will be a great final.

Kk win 3 17 to Tullamore 1-7. Tullamore stuck with kk for 40 minutes then fell away badly. That's 5 in a row for kk. Be interesting to see can they adapt to senior hurling.
Game moved to Tullamore as Birrs pitch was unplayable.

With the underage championship programme now completed in Offaly here is a full review of all underage hurling finals.

Under 13 Championship finals:

D Final - Coolderry 0-13 Clara 1-08

C Final - CRC 5-08 Gracefield 2-06

B Final - Kinnitty/Lusmagh 3-09 Ferbane/Belmont 4-02

A Final- Drumcullen/Seir Kieran 4-08 Tullamore 4-04

U15 Championship Finals:

C Final - Ferbane/Belmont 3-08 vs Ballinamere/Durrow 2-09

B Final - Shamrocks 2-16 Kinnitty/Lusmagh 0-07

A Final - Kilcormac/Killoughey 2-15 Shinrone/Ballyskenagh-Killavilla 0-16

U17 Championship Finals:

B Final - Clara/Brosna Gaels 2-18 Ballinamere/Durrow 1-08

A Final - Kilcormac/Killoughey 3-17 Tullamore 1-07

U20 Championship Final

K/K 4-15 Birr 2-12

Another very successful year for Kilcormac / Killoughey which sees them annex 3 of the 4 A championships on offer and claiming a 5th minor title in a row. Something they also achieved from 1994 to 1998 inclusive. They now join St Rynaghs on top of the Minor Hurling Championship with 20 titles. A very bright future ahead it seems.

Another big win for colaiste choilm, this time in leinster B championship. Bet Birr well today in crinkle today. 2 -13 to 1-7. Colaiste choilm without Dan Ravenhill so very impressive win. Great to see.

I am not sure it was a big win both teams were through already and Birr lost two players to injuries which stopped the game for a long periods.

You would have to think that it's a shame that we don't have a team in the A Colleges after our minor team last year.

I think Colaiste Choilm are a very handy side, young Ter Guinan, Furlong and Dan Burke are tremendous hurlers. When Dan Ravenhill returns to the team you'd have to think they'd be an awful lot better than Birr.

Two local schools, one from the "traditional south" other from the North. Yeah, it was a big game and a real marker set down from colaiste choilm
