Could the rumour that the Gracefield lads showed far more fighting spirit after their timid display against St. Brigids in the Championship be true?
The rumour mill has it that they knocked seven colours of it out of each other in the aftermath of the game.
Are Brigids becoming Offaly's mini-meath, not because of any similarity to Bernard Flynn or Trevour Giles but more like the suspect tactics of Liam Harnan or Mick Lyons?

Brigid's
Didn't hear anything about this - but what I do know is that this display was seemingly on the cards.
Between various lads going travelling, and others taking their time about coming back from injury (Not my interpretation, but that of lads in the club) there has been little or no interest so far. They've had single figure numbers at a lot of their training sessions over the past month, and haven't shown any interest in the league or challenge matches. It seems inconsistent to start fighting after all that.
One way or another, they're the favourites to miss out on the quarters from that group now anyway.

It's true alright...after the final whistle there was a wee bit of a melee between the two teams. They were seperated and both sets of players headed to their dressing rooms. The "Barow Boys" continued the altercation between themselves on entering the dressing room....no one else was allowed enter including any mentors from St Brigids....

Clara's very close to the Westmeath border in places.

Re: Clara
Have you noticed the height of the ditches along the border. Potential Westmeath migrants would have found it easier to vault the Berlin wall!Lone Shark wrote:Clara's very close to the Westmeath border in places.
