Having said that, their goal was excellent and they ran straight through offaly. Offaly have the players but no way apparent way of playing. Could not deal with Kildare extra man at the back for long periods.
Offaly had the game well won and still brought on players who were injured judging by the strapping they were wearing. There was no need for cathal king to take to the field in the 2nd half and they brought on a player who was heavily strapped when ten points ahead.
Mgt set up did not seem tuned in as they were all over the place when the anthem started and there was no final pep talk due to getting the timing wrong. First time it has happened I think but should never happen.
Can't see this team winning the next game which will basically be the first time they play against good opposition.
Do we know who, when or where is next game?

Id expect Galway to be very strong at this level.

Be a test to see where this Offaly team are at.

If offaly go 15 v15, 10 point plus win for galway. Offaly will need a plan. I don't think this mgt believes in plans.

I have to say that was one of the best performances I have seen from any Offaly hurling team in a long time. The attitude, work rate, hunger and the skill level was outstanding.
Mighty stuff, who have we up next, is it Wexford as they beat Westmeath today?

Great game, fought for every ball and a well deserved victory.

I had spoken to a Galway man earlier in the week who said Galway had a strong team and should win.Great to see us beat a strong team at this level, the success of the minors has been brought through.

Hopefully the lads that went off today are back and other injured lads can come back. Hon Offaly, great start to the weekend.

Super win. Even with the 5 u20s missing for Galway I thought they would have too much for offaly. Great work rate, tacking and point scoring. Brecon kavanagh was concussed badly and will be a doubt as will adam screeney who was left on the pitch and only taken off when he got sick on the field off play.

Questions about welfare need to be asked. Offaly had no doctor and it was the galway doctor that saw to the offaly players. Both counties are to have their own. Too serious not to. Big day now vs Dublin who will have one u20 missing with seniors. Big opportunity to win leinster with kk u20s with billy drennan out for year. He scored 2 -12 vs galway.
