Disappointing to see Brosna Gaels go down after only coming up this year. They beat Shamrocks comfortably this year and they are in the final.

Just looking ahead to weekend Q/Fs in senior A, Birr V Ballinamere: I see a few predicting Ballinamere will win this game, and for sure they can and could. Without going into line for line of the team, they have a decent team and on their day potentially scoring forwards, bar Cahill and Birr do appear to have the same fire power. That said, Birr will have the tradition and know how to win knock out games, and have a few experienced players at this level through out the field and in management set up. I just think Birr will be fired up for getting a crack at a semifinal and after that who knows. Ballinamere have potentially more scoring players and that might just swing this, should be a close game.

Rynaghs and Shinrone: not upto speed fully with who is available for St. Rynaghs, losinng to KK wasnt the end of their world and to a team like KK losing by less than 5 points on any day is not a disgrace by anymeans. Shinrone, for some reason never turned up at the office against Belmont, apparently Belmont were very goood too, so somewhere in between lies Shinrone, they finished well to put respect on the board. This is knockout, and like Birr, above, Rynaghs know this is the business end, if all players are available, they should have the defence to restrict Shinrones capable forward line, but Rynaghs defennce seemed vunerable in last few games, surely they will remedy that ahead of the knockouts stages. Shinrone should be wounded to make a fight out of this, and I think they mightj do that, Rynaghs for me though I think, by a few points.

Anything bar a Birr and St Rynagh's victory would be a shock..

Will depend on what Rynaghs players are available for selection..

They obviously tried few things in group stages in Birr and in Rynagh's obviously it may have been forced on Rynagh's with players injured and away.

But this is knockout hurling

Can’t see anything other than Ballinamere and Banagher victories myself.

Ballinamere favourites with Boylesports too.

Apologies, I misread the odds.

All the better now when I back Ballinamere at 11/8.

I’ve seen Birr twice this year. I have the ability to be objective. You on the other hand…..

Oh I can and they have been very very poor but still won the league and overcame a kinnitty team who drew with Rynaghs.
I seen B/D and I think Birr will have too much for them.

Huge weekend for Clareen, could potentially have a Senior A and Senior B team come Sunday evening, would be a brilliant achievement for them all things considered

Think Seir Kieran might have too much for Clodiagh Gaels in Senior A relegation match. Gaels lack scoring power, hope I am wrong, but it could be Senior B hurling again. Not familiar with intermediate grade, to make a forecast on the final.
