i started the worse pitch in the county,so we might aswell have a best one to.
il start by saying o connor park is the best field in the county and we all know that,its joy every time you play on it and its prob one of the best playing surfaces in the country...as for club pitches i think killeigh have a great field for both football and hurling,i also like gracefield and rath..your views lads

Has to be o'connor park. Intercounty standard right there. Have to say Birr looked very impressive during the summer (when it was dry) for the Offaly-Wexford U-21 match. Unfortunately the same can not be said of it in its current state. If it can be fixed, it has potential.

You would have to look at Tubber as one of the best pitches. The grounds are always very well maintained
move the ball fast into the full forward line

it has to be o conner park its a lovely surface to play either code on . the great man himself brian whelahan said it was the best pitch outside of croke park he played on and that will do for me .

As I said in the other thread O'Brian park is also top notch....probably because they only let one team at a time warm up there
