Senior Hurling - fancy Belmont for some reason. Rynaghs, Coolderry and Birr gone backwards, KK and Ballinamere not yet ready but will challenge, Shinrone unlikely for 2 in row. Belmont will take huge encouragement from last year.

Senior B Hurling - Clodiagh Gaels to edge over Clara.

Inter Hurling - likely a strong senior clubs second team.

Junior Hurling - lottery - Edenderry possibly.

Senior Football - Hard look past Tullamore. Ferbane to go close if hurlers get knocked out. Only fact of dual involvement holding them back. Rhode to really challenge again.

Senior B Football - Cappincur, closely challenged by Clonbullogue, Tubber and Ballycommon

Inter Football - Raheen, closely challenged by Tullamore and Ballinagar

Junior Football - of individual clubs, Kilclonfert or Clodiagh Gaels will challenge. 2nd teams from likes of Durrow, Clara, Edenderry etc all be there or thereabouts too. At Junior and Inter level, much depends on how many get lost to Senior among bigger clubs second teams.

Edenderry are Intermediate this year.

Think St Rynaghs will bounce back to win county final. Excellent management team in place. That could be it for a while then for them.

2 left field predictions: Clareen to be surprise packets and Coolderry to enter relegation discussion.

Tullamore will still go straight back down though.

Senior B really is a mile off Senior A and Clodiagh Gaels may win it but they were out of their depth last year and would be again in 2024.

Drumcullen should win Intermediate but it’s a pretty poor reflection on them as a club that they are in that grade. Like, Clareen have a team in that grade AND a team 2 grades above it. Drumcullen are now in a championship where they are playing clubs whose first priority is football. (Edenderry)

The big question how many league games will get played
Too many wrong type of snow or leaves on the line excuses.
Watch this space .
Mind you I enjoy the league !clubs a bit closer than in the championship

Football
Senior - Usual teams here Tullamore, Rhode, Ferbane possibly Edenderry have a chance
Senior B - Cappincur look to be strongest here, Clonbulloge & Tubber next best, Ballycommen have momentum
Inter - Raheen , Erin Rovers favourites. St Rynaghs have a chance
Junior - K/K depending on interest in the big ball,Clodiagh Geals, Edenderry possibly.

Hurling
Senior - very open this year any ofK/K , Shinrone, St Rynaghs, Belmont
Senior B Clara
Inter - Drumcullen you would think should win this
Junior - Brosna Geals
