Probably enjoy it more if they took a few drinks
Soccer players regularly have about 8/10 drinks a week
And some alot more .
Brian Clough famously said he would never sign a man who would not drink as you never knew the real man .!

Soccer players do not regularly drink, let alone 8 or 10!!

I can tell you personally football players have around
12/14 units a week of booze Im friends with alot
Of professionals the clubs are ok with a day drink pool golf etc .
But Night clubs are a No No ..
Problem with the Gaa they have become Puritan
Athletes .

I’m sorry but that’s just not true, professional footballers are not having 12-14 units of booze per week. Most don’t drink at all during the season.
