I think cork will beat Galway probably by five or six or could be comfortably.

I think they will beat limerick in the all ireland.

Can't see clare beating limerick and it could be very one sided.

[I dont know what was the objective here. When the ball was struck he remained on the line beside Hoare instead of moving forward to cut out that ball. If we have a free man back there then he should be cutting out the space and if he was standing just inside the 14 then he cleans that ball very easy.

It was a combination of bad positioning and a rush of blood from Liam he totally take Ben out of the equation by comming out and to go with the hand was madness. having said that if the spare man is positioned right it doesn't get to that sums up the day really naive mistakes compounded by a follow up mistake

Anthony Daly was on some sort podcast on one of the news papers examiner/independent seen a video , he's was making the recommendation that someone from the 98/90s team takes the reigns from jk that he has gotten the team as far as he can and bit Being disrespectful to jk that he's a great manager with all he has done club and county

I don't agree that we should be looking there if jk is to go , that was kinda tried and tested ,
Brain whelan
Jociam Kelly
Ger Oakley
Kevin Martin
Joe Dooley

Now out of those maybe Joe Dooley had the best of the teams that was available I think there's just too much expectancy if you put someone from that group in the position

If Johnny Kelly was to go (and I'd definitely be on for giving him at least another year) I think Brian Dowling would be an excellent fit for this team.

If you want to ruin this offaly team get those lads in that list involved.

One thing Johnny Kelly has assembled is a very good coaching team, Seamie Callinan in particular seems to be very good with the group and it looks from the sideline he is Johnny Kelly’s right hand man (I’m too long exiled to know any more).
Leaving aside the management debate for one second, two coaches with strong Offaly connections who could be approached are Francis Forde and David Franks. David has an an excellent reputation down in Ballygunner. Forde with his native Galway, so unlikely to be tempted unless it was to step up into a senior manager position.
No way we are going back to some of the names mentioned above (and I don’t think you were suggesting that), great servants of Offaly hurling all of them, but for management?? … that day has passed,

I agree Johnny Kelly has done everything he possibly can for the senior team he's got.in a good team behind him everyone looks fit and you don't hear any rumours of any disagreements and if they are well at least it's staying within the camp

I don't buy into this 20 years to fix hurling, when was hurling ever fixed kk dominated for so long , Limerick, tipp Clare were in the mix

Cork beat a under 21/22 team

Ben coneely stud out due to his experience at senior hurling, not many on that team have been exposed to that level regardless of success at underage it will only help so much when it comes to big games like last Sunday

Offaly were the last and only county to break the mold in the 90s there's been no new winners and no county came even close that I can recall,

Hurling will never be "fixed" teams yo yo between all the competitions Derry ch
Meath and down Christy ring/Joe mcdonagh

Teams yo yo through the lorry meagher and Christy ring

hard day at the office last sunday but was no shock either that cork had it won after 20 minutes . i think its silly to match a team who finished 3 in leinster to play munster runners up. the gap is massive i know the dubs beat limerick last year but that was a tired limerick side you seen what cork done with them after in the semil.

if offaly are to progress to a leinster hurling final in the next few years you will see a different team they are young. and in fairness they met a cork team who have hurl in 3 all irelands in 4 years and could make it 4 later on. what drove me mad on sunday in the stands were supporters from offaly a few i know who weren't at a match in year's shouting abuse at offaly lads and leaving well before time and wouldn't be seen again for a while they will be no lost either.

we have been unlucky with injuries this year even sunday Donal Shirley James Mahon Charlie Mitchell we wouldn't have beaten cork but they would have been a big help but they have time they are young. they are a great bunch of lads and have got offaly back up to leinster hurling and a year older next year and thbey will be better with some players back.
