Big score put up!Doon Exile wrote: ↑Wed May 04, 2022 9:34 pm Brilliant performance by Offaly tonight. Special mention to our own Luke Kelly - didn’t make the 24 match panel for the first two games and 1-02 and 0-4 in last two games.
Dublin next Wednesday evening in Parnell park.
Congrats to all involved!!

Re: Quick Hurling/Rules ?
I see. At first I thought the Galway player misplayed it just before getting hit.Now I see it.
No doubt there appears to be a ‘soccer style’ reaction to being hit. Tiresome.

Re: Quick Hurling/Rules ?
Thanks for the background/perspective. That explains a lot. Agree he should go for the ball, just appears that he runs through your man in an established position to do so. I see it as a foul (open to discussion). As pointed out, if no foul is called either because it is not deemed a foul (fair enou...

Quick Hurling/Rules ?
Watched the Kilkenny/Galway highlights. There seems to be a considerable bit of squabbling over the free given at the end of the game.
Not sure I understand all the excitement. Looked like a reasonable free to me.
Anyone have an opinion on the incident in question either way?
Thanks.

Re: Offaly Hurlers 2022
We were organized and ready to hit the ground running out of COVID. We did so against modest competition and got the job done. It seems some of the others have been busy getting their houses in order. Yes it won’t be easy. Nobody will be giving us anything.
UP OFFALY!!!

Re: Offaly Senior Football Team - Championship 2022
Unfortunately we are a County that got too excited after a bit of success with the U20 win last year. Players at all adult levels not only got confidence from that win but also got cocky and arrogant. 15 David Clifford's started for Offaly yesterday and woke up today with some hangover. Not on the ...

I hope you are right. In fairness, keeping it close for 55 mins against this bunch is encouraging.

Re: Huring back in Birr
Despite the scorelines, performance and scores bode well for championship . Offaly will be far better off than that of their rivals by the end of the league. As long as morale stays high. The mgt expected these defeats so can deal with them appropriately. Have always been of the opinion that a leag...

Kevin, this years Convention Report which is just out stated the following: "In relation to OCP Lease, this issue continues to be addressed. Offaly GAA wrote to Tullamore GAA, with proposals to settle the OCP rent dispute for 2020 and 2021. We are awaiting a response from Tullamore GAA in this...
