Re: Offaly Intermediate Club Hurling Championship 2023
I think that is very harsh they were more than competive senior in 22 and ran some teams under 10 points. The lack depth yes but I think they wouldn't be far off tullamore Kinnitty and Clareen. Thanks for that reasoned contribution. We are a small club providing sporting opportunities for our playe...

Super display by KK.
More than likely will face O’Loughlin Gaels in 2 weeks in Tullamore.

Re: Offaly Intermediate Club Hurling Championship 2023
Bray lost all ireland semi final in Tullamore last year to eventual champions Monaleen. I was at the game, they went very close to beating them. An all ireland win would see the following year Wicklow champions compete in Leinster senior club championship, just as happened with Naas. It can only be ...

Re: Changing of Underage grades and Separation from adult
Agree on both counts Greenairfield. With the KK situation, if they did go to 2 Senior A teams, I can see 3 options, all with pitfalls. A) Same system of this year applies, with teams considered first and second team. This would involve a first team naming 18 players that can only play on this ‘first...

Changing of Underage grades and Separation from adult
A lot of the attention from Will O’Callaghans tweet last night will be on the possibility of Kilcormac Killoughey having 2 senior hurling teams, but what is far more important for most clubs is the other part of his tweet, which talks of the county boards plan to have a vote next Tuesday on moving u...

Re: Offaly Senior A Hurling Championship 2023
No one including myself seen that collapse by Shinrone..we all had abit of fear of a "Kk Response" having lost a few finals there..hats off to them..Shinrone will know they didn't play as they can and that will be hard on them..Kk being talked up abit for Leinster I see..not so sure..a yo...

Re: Offaly Senior B Hurling Championship 2023
Clodiagh Gaels win 17 to 13.
Poor enough stuff, Birr without Ailbe Watkins and had enough chances to get something here.
2 reds each, Joey Keenaghan and Dylan Hyland will miss the final, both have shown a lot of ill discipline for club and county.
Expect KK to win well.

Re: Offaly Senior B Hurling Championship 2023
Kk absolutely destroyed Lusmagh. 6-27 to 10 points. Lusmagh failed to fulfill a single league this year if my memory is correct. Anyone know why? I believe it was lack of numbers. Lusmagh beat both of todays semi-finalists in the group, Birr and Clodiagh Gaels. Are Kilcormac that much ahead of the ...

Re: Offaly Intermediate Club Hurling Championship 2023
First time seeing that Carrig and Riverstown team play this year. Very impressed by them, a lot of change this year with the team now full of young lads. Centre back Patrick Bergin is a big imposing and skilful hurler, think I heard someone say he’s only 18, anyone confirm this? If so, I’d love to s...

Re: Offaly Senior A Hurling Championship 2023
The result yesterday highlighting how uncompetitive senior B is. Bad need to return to 8 senior teams ditch senior B championship. Crazy it was allowed in the first place. Can’t see what that move accomplishes. Senior B has been a very competitive championship aside from yesterday. By all accounts,...

Re: Offaly Senior B Hurling Championship 2023
Weekend Betting All prices Paddy Power. Kilcormac Killoughey 4/11 Draw 10/1 Lusmagh 9/4 Lusmagh opened up far bigger outsiders yesterday when the price was 10/3. I think this is the first stage of the year that odds have been offered on the Senior B, so the bookies might have needed some betting to...

Re: Offaly Senior A Hurling Championship 2023
Weekend Betting All prices Paddy Power. Seir Kieran 8/11 Draw 8/1 Kinnitty 5/4 When this opened on Tuesday, Seir Kieran were closer to 10/11, so there has been money there. I’m not sure how much money it would take to change prices in such markets. Loneshark might be the man for that. St Rynaghs 1/...

Re: Offaly Senior A Hurling Championship 2023
That's your opinion but you can't hide the facts things have to change . Circumstances will force it to happen. Enjoy the sun 🌞 What facts and what circumstances? How does finishing the championship by September increase crowds in your big grand plan? Would I not be right in saying that every game ...

Re: Offaly Senior A Hurling Championship 2023
So the county board are concerned about the small Crowds at games 👀 I wonder why . We should had the senior championship over by the first week of September Let U20s and the rest have September to get games done with etc . common sense !!! SuperHans what are you on about (again)? Run our senior cha...
