very handy draw for rhode they could prob put out a second team and come out of that group gracefield would be next if they get there act together if not then rovers to sneak out of the group shannonbridge relegation contenders again group two clara and ferbane to advance could be tricky for ferbane...

first game first win for pat roes team ok perfromance. p kelly had a nightmare caught badly for two goals over his head surely k meehan deserves a chance. full back line did ok joe quinn looks like a good footballer and could solve the full back problem. rest of the backs were ok e byrne looks handy...

think you are mistaken conor evans would have been minor in 98 and as far as i am aware he mite have been on the panel from maybe 2001 onwards he only got to play in 2005 and has not actually started that many matches for offaly so i cant see where this miles on the clock thing is coming from to me ...

shane dooley is defo worth a shot this year from what i saw of him he has inproved big time also ls i cant see how brian carroll is certain starter i reckon he has been medicore to poor for both offaly and coolderry i reckon he will be under pressure
