Re: Offaly Under 20s hurling 2024
What's your rationale for the 20,000:7,000 ratio even though Tipp clubs have about 5k alone? Massive fuck up by County Board here, more than likely 50/50, Tipp looking for underage success given poor Senior run. Exactly, you’d imagine it’ll be much closer to 50:50 now. Tipp have 5k more than us wit...

Re: Offaly Under 20s hurling 2024
The net effect of not seeking an allocation means the proportion of Offaly to Tipp fans will likely be around 20,000:7,000 in a worst case scenario. Re: Offaly Senior Hurlers 2024
If I was offaly I'd be looking to finish on a win and best way to do that is to go with your best team. Last year offaly were within their rights to do as they pleased. But it was almost an entire new team and were well bet. Offaly have momentum. Its important to keep that going . Offaly have to wi...

Re: Offaly Senior Footballers 2024
It’s mid May and the intercounty season is over bar a meaningless match against Down. The players go back to their clubs in the best time of the year to be kicking football and guess when their next competitive match will be?? Mid September!!! As voted by all your clubs, a meaningless round robin i...

Re: Offaly Senior Hurlers 2024
Pity the powers that be fixed it for same time as Clare v Limerick  Why would that have anything to do with Offaly or loais? It's tome for offaly to show that the league performance wasn't just because of the bigger teams not fielding full strength squads and to be honest they should be bette...

Re: Offaly Senior Hurlers 2024
It's shocking. Details revealed only yesterday (Tuesday), 11 days before the Saturday. The Meagher, Rackard, Ring and McDonagh cups aren't deemed to be spectator sports, don't have sponsors and as a result there is zero promotion of the games. Why did it take so long to confirm the details of these...

Duignan is a clown. No need for him to comment, does no one any good. Everyone here knows players are putting in savage effort and are hurting more than anyone.

Re: Offaly Senior A Hurling Championship 2023
Two interesting q/finals at the weekend. You’d expect both to be close enough. Shinrone will be glad of another game before the semi final. I expect them to beat a poor Birr outfit, mightn’t be a whole lot in it though. If Cahill is back that’s a massive plus for them because they are very average w...

How is it possible for a team leading by 9pts in a Senior A q/f not be able to score for the last 30+min. That is some joke.
