Re: Offaly Senior Football Team - Championship 2023
Lads it’s not just your local clubs under 14 team where there’s politics going on it’s happening at the highest level too, there’s a serious bang of “one of for them boys” and agendas in this Offaly setup. 1. Jamie Evan’s is nowhere near good enough to be starting for Offaly, he wasn’t even making t...

Re: U20 intercounty football league - development league
Cormac egan broke his finger in a challenge game recently? Marcus Dalton out for 6 months with a really bad hamstring tear Keith O’Neill has never got hip right since a year back still out Injuries really are a complete disaster, almost every player from the 20s all-Ireland have gotten some type of ...

Re: NFL Div 3 predictions 2023
Panda messed around substituted twice he only got to play 25 minutes after scoring 0-5 off the bench last week and winning us the game where’s the logic in that? Same old story unfortunately 7 points from 18 shots in open play less than 40% won’t win you anything same last week 9 points from over 25...

Re: Club football managers 22/23
Ferbane have been in 3 finals in the last 6 years winning 1 and technically weren’t even beaten in two semi finals as they were both draws after extra time losing out on penalties. There’s a massive culture of football in Ferbane 3rd in the overall roll of honour. Their footballers have grown up win...

Re: Club Football Championship 2022
Niall mc and Johnny Maloney uncertain about returns. Jordan hayes going on 6 month tour of duty missing the whole league. Paddy dunican gone for the year. Niall Darby too obviously. Keith O’Neill and John Furlong nursing injuries unsure if they can join the squad. The two Cian’s back but have fitnes...

Re: Club Football Championship 2022
There is trial matches being held alongside the panel that has been picked. So at least they are looking at everyone and nobody can complain they aren’t on the panel or weren’t given a chance

Re: Club Football Championship 2022
Not to be disrespectful to anyone but a lot of the lads you named are either nowhere near good enough for senior inter county football or have been on the panel at some stage and never got a look in. Cunningham couldn’t get onto the u20 team so hard to see how he’d make any impact at senior, Kevin O...

Re: Club Football Championship 2022
What other goalkeeper’s is there? Will Ken Garry get a shot? He’s probably the best of the rest. Ian Duffy has been no.2 the last few years haven’t seen enough of him to know if he’s ready to step up. Chip O’Toole is worth a look at too

Re: Club Football Championship 2022
How long have people been saying that about edenderry? They haven’t been to a final in 7 years for a reason continuously just fold anytime it gets put up to them by Rhode Tullamore and Ferbane. It’s believe it when I see it time with Edenderry

Re: Club Football Championship 2022
That’s absolute nonsense, accuracy of delivery? He just thumped it in high from midfield and Maloney caught it? The key play was the dispossession from Ruairi. 99 times out of 100 tullamore come out with that ball the odds were heavily stacked in their favour with the numbers they had around and Mal...

Re: Club Football Championship 2022
All the hype around tullamore will surely die down now all they have is one county title to show for it.. way too overhyped in the media and was seen today a lot of them young lads have a long way to go yet. Tullamore lack a star forward with cutting edge and composure in front of goal their shootin...

Re: Club Football Championship 2022
Was only in OCP on Saturday so can’t comment on today’s game but seems at though it was a fairly straight forward win for Tullamore. Good to see Cian Farrell back on the pitch. As for the other semi-final both could have won or lost. Penalties is a terrible way for any team to go out of the champion...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Team - Championship 2022
Kearns confirmed.thoughts on this? It’s not as flashy of name as the hurling appointment but could turn out to be just as good. The back room team he selects will the crucial. At least he can get to club games now a new era begins

Re: League & Championship hurling 2022
Clara beat tullamore tonight for the first time since 1927. They also lost to Birr’s second team. I’m a football man myself but it’s still sad to see that the football management team have clearly told talented dual players to focus on football, there’s no reason why a huge town like tullamore can’t...
