Re: Offaly Under 20s hurling 2024
Adult Ticket €25
Student/OAP €20
U16 €5
I really hope this is assigned seating. As with General Admission it's farcical the amount of seats "reserved" by jackets. It's worse than the Germans, their towels and their sunbeds.

Re: Offaly Under 20s hurling 2024
I’d say zero chance of it being moved at this stage. Regards crowd. Offaly brought circa 15000 to portlaois - I’d say max 20k would cover us for the final and leaves 7k for Tipp. Hopefully everyone gets sorted. The only thing that will annoy people is if they have to pay full price for kids/u16. No...

O’Connor park has 18k capacity - supposedly only 8000 last week. Hard to where the other 10k would have fitted.

Re: Offaly Under 20s hurling 2024
Interesting team selection dilemma for Johnny Kelly this weekend...... There is absolutely no team selection dilemma for Johnny Kelly. There shouldn’t be but I’d imagine Kelly will want to play them as his job is gone if they lose. Which if comes to pass shows Johnny Kelly is more concerned about h...

Re: Offaly Under 20s hurling 2024
There's a sense going into this game, based off some of the comments, that we're near rank outsiders for this contest. While nobody can deny the tradition that Kilkenny bring to the table more recent form at underage would suggest that such a side is far from infallible. Tradition when it comes to ...

https://www.thesun.ie/sport/gaa-hurling/4832699/martin-dolphin-offaly-galway-hurling/amp/ Article on Martin Dolphin from 2019. States that counties in Liam Mc, Joe Mc or Christy Ring could no longer avail of this. So I don’t know how Kerry are allowed. The joys of being part of Munster GAA I assume...

Re: Offaly Under 20s hurling 2024
No, I won't help you out. If the point you're trying to make is that Offaly have no hope, I certainly won't be doing your research for you. These lads were born in 2004, 2005 and 2006. What went on before they were born is of no relevance here, any more than a Minor hammering from Kilkenny in 1968 ...

We genuinely could be looking at 10,000 at this game.
At home, Kilkenny, we have a decent chance.

Re: Offaly Under 20s hurling 2024
Clearly Adam Screeney, Donal Shirley, Dan Bourke and Cathal King should have been replaced at an early juncture but that's not the way Leo O'Connor or Johnny Kelly work. And we all know that. And we all know this power play is going to bite Offaly in the ass. Two massive egos who will end up doing m...

Re: Offaly Under 20s hurling 2024
Following tonight's results we can be fairly sure we will be hurling in Portlaoise next Wednesday evening one way or the other. Yes the #1 seeds have home advantage but as you quite rightly stated Galway aren't entitled to any home games so if we draw them that will be brought to a neutral venue. An...
