Re: Football Draw
Wicklow-beatable Dublin-we’ll give it a good crack i dont mean to be defeatist or anything but what does giving it a good crack mean? keeping it under 12 points? were werent capable of beating a div 4 side in the 2017 championship .we cant be expected to be even slightly competitive against one of t...

Re: Semi-Finals
ive been on this site a few years and one common theme seems to be coming up all the time. every time ferbane lose a game in any code there seems to be a certain amount of glee from a lot of contributors. i dont know why this is? are ferbane supporters arrogant? i dont think so..? even though browni...

Re: New Managers for 2018
its a bit strange really.were getting in a manager that prob will need directions to get to tullamore and o connor park.and if he had to name 5 offaly players would prob struggle. he replaces a well regarded offaly man with a lifetimes experience of playing and managing in the county, who had zero l...

Re: Offaly hurling manager??
people on here mentioning liam sheedy anthony daly or anthony cunningham..i think thats not realistic.would you expect mourinho or klopp to take over oldham athletic or wigan? it wont happen. any good unemployed manager will want to go somewhere that has a good minor or under 21 team coming up..

Re: Offaly GAA - in Crisis
i think michaels comments were entirely correct. hes an rte analyst, the county hes from should have no bearing on the thrust of what he said.and hes right.he commenting on wexford as a potentially realistic contender for the all ireland.wexford had no shot on goal. never even threatened it.and with ...

Re: Offaly hurling manager??
what attraction would offaly have for anthony cunningham? or indeed any top manager. zero underage success in recent years,in other words very little coming.a disfunctional county board with a low tolerance level unless they do a paul daniels trick with the team? dublin are miles and miles ahead of ...

Re: County Management Stability
reading the article it gave me a sick feeling in my stomach. i thought things had changed some bit.obviously not.i remember players 10 years ago telling me about the problems getting expenses, gear etc and one remarking the people at the tops expenses were always paid on time.its reminded me of the ...

Re: County Management Stability
i thought pat flanagan ,an honourable man,was doing a good job. were the team prepared as good as they could have been with the resources available?id say yes has the county board a better person to take over?id say no. the common theme has been to blame the manager since tommy lyons.. paul o kelly ...

Re: Offaly vs. Waterford 2017 Hurling Qualifier
i know most on here want a solution.certainly kevin ryan is a genuine guy but he hasnt got a "feel" for offaly i think..were better off get an offaly man and close up ranks and try and get out of it ourselves.bringing kilkenny men down to advise isnt the way to go in my opinion.its not lon...
