Re: Johnny Pilkington
Is this up on the player lads or a link to it. I missed this and would love to see it. I know myself that he was fierce well regarded as a hurler as well as a bit of a character right around the country. I think the comment about the drinking if Offaly won the All Ireland is ironic, in the sense th...

Re: Byrne v Duignan
Surely there is a role for both? Could Michael take a vice chair role for the present with a view to learning the ropes, getting his ideas on the agenda / implemented and take on the chairman's role in the future. Strikes me that there is a lot of learning in the chairman's role and the best outcome...

Re: Leinster Club Hurling
Sin sceal eile is right. Always hard to know when two teams haven't really faced each other. (I know they met in 2011, which win will be a little boost to Coolderry.) Parnell Park won't be a massive factor either. Coolderry won't be troubled by a tight pitch, whatever else. Coolderry will have the ...

Re: Offaly v Westmeath, Mullingar, Sunday 1st May
There is a really interesting article in lasts Sunday's match programme CE v WD by Christy O'Connor on the amount of time a player has on the ball overall and how much time a player has each time he get the ball. Worth a read.

Beg, borrow or steal Paudie Butler to head it up. It will take ten years.

There are signs of progress with both teams this year. Good luck to Pat, Eamon and the both squads of players for the championships.

Wing Back. whats game where you at cause Wynne was marking Conor McGrath for the 90% of the game until he went centre forward. He did an excellent job on him and had one of his better games. And why would you drop Paddy Murphy. He was the best forward last Sunday. I agree with Mullrooney and am ast...

Best of luck to all involved with the Offaly panel and the supporters who travel. There is no denying it's a tough draw and Clare will be confident of an easy win. All we can ask as supporters is that you give everything as individuals and as a team and who knows how it might go. All the best.

Re: Offaly vs Clare - 2015 Senior Hurling Qualifier R1
I enjoyed the Newstalk piece with Anthony Daly and Michael Duignan earlier. Michael Duignan has been speaking openly and honestly about his slap across David Forde for a long time now, and probably will for a long time to come and there are Klare people who just won’t get it. That’s their difficult...
