Fixtures are light in Offaly this week as there is effectively a weekend off however Offaly Senor Hurlers do play Clare in a tournament game in Crinkill this Sunday to mark the opening of the new ground.

Sorry for the delay lads haven't been on in the last couple of days..
Offaly 1-19 - 0-22 Clare.
Offaly started with 12 of the players that played against Dublin, the 3 missing were Brian Carroll, Stephen Egan and Joe Bergin.
Shane Dooley was once again the hero with a 68th minute goal from a 21 yard free, Dooley scored 1-10 overall.
Just like '98, the game was blown up early, straight after Dooley's goal which was in the 68th minute, but unlike 13 years ago, there was no sit-down protest.
