Folks, my apologies for not getting this properly run last year, and this year I'm actually even more busy if that's possible - but a solution has emerged.
If ye all go to www.facetheball.com, register and then join the Offaly football and hurling predictions leagues. Points are awarded for picking winning team, and then extra points for being near the winning margin. Registration is FREE, and while you don't have to be posters on Uibhfhaili.com to join (so feel free to spread the word around to everyone else!) I will run the knockout events based on this at the end of the year.

The scoring system is based on getting as near as possible to the correct margin, and you can join in at any stage - but the crucial difference here is that the round will close with the first fixture - so you can't just miss the first game. So everyone be sure to lok on and get their picks in for the hurling before Friday night. You can enter the football now as well, though obviously that doesn't have to be done until Tuesday evening.

There's other counties on there as well and more will be joining, so feel free to join other competitions while you're there.

So get the word around, get registered and give yourself every chance!

There was a bug with the football one earlier, but that's been resolved now too.
