Counties that were handed away fixtures in the first round of last year's All-Ireland football Qualifiers can look forward to a home game this year, unless they are drawn against another county who also had to travel in 2009.In that case a toss will decide who enjoys home advantage.

The system is designed to ensure that counties don't have to rely on luck to give them a home game. The draw for the first round of the All-Ireland football Qualifiers, scheduled for Saturday,June 26,will be held on Sunday evening.

The counties who played away in the first round last year were Tipperary,Waterford,Armagh,Fermanagh,Offaly,Carlow,Longford and London.

The 16 teams that will be in the draw are:

Donegal
Derry
Antrim
Armagh
Wicklow
Carlow
Kildare
Offaly
Longford
Clare
Tipperary
Mayo
London

Cavan or Fermanagh
Laois or Meath
Dublin or Wexford

At this stage you wouldn't fancy Offaly against many of those teams.

Wicklow
Carlow
Longford
Clare
London
Cavan
Fermanagh

they are about the only teams that Offaly would stand a chance against and thats only a slim chance against most of them, the only one of them they would be 100% guaranteed a win against is London

One of the best outcomes we could have asked for.
Nothing guaranteed of course.

It couldn't have worked out better for us, no doubt it will be a tough battle but I don't care if it's the worst game in history so long as we win the damn thing. :)

Lads, let's not forget that as happy as we are at getting Clare they will be equally delighted to be getting Offaly, make no mistake about it this will probably go to the wire and will more than likely be a dogfight, get ready for a few mini heart attacks.

Getting Clare is better than getting London.
If we were drawn against and beat London, there wouldn't be much sense of achievement in beating them.

A win over Clare would give a bigger psychological boost. If we lose to them, then we certainly can't complain and would have no business in the last 24 of the championship.
