3 from Galway, Moran, Treacy & Burke. The 2 Kellys & Gardiner are Lusmagh, the other 9 and the 3 subs are Rynaghs.

Great win today and a superb performance over the course of the whole game. With the 2 schools under the one banner now Banagher College is well placed to be the premier hurling school in the county.

Pat Donegan. Signed out of respect for players and all involved with Offaly.

"Offaly's hurling is exact and abrasive: full of assurance on the ball, devoid of fumbling and slicing and sod-busting". Kevin Cashman RIP (September 1994).

Sunday Sport - Michael Duignan mentioned Brendan Kelly's son who scored 1-3 and Ethan Mannion, son of Roy, who also played very well.

Yea, while I was out on the pitch at the end someone was opportune enough to spot Benny Kelly, Ronald Byrne, Roy Mannion & Michael Duignan (4 members of the 1986 Offaly minor side) close together and asked for a photo. Cathaoirleach of the Seanad and former Offaly hurler Pat Moylan was called upon to stand in also. We can look forward to this photo being published in this Christmas' Banagher Review publication.
