Kilkenny given pass into Leinster semi

Post by bracknaghboy »

I've only stumbled across this now and can't believe that nobody else has mentioned it. I heard nothing of this? Its like something from an April fools day article!
Seriously I assume all other 7 teams in the hat will be withdrawing from next weeks draw. The clubs in Offaly need to pressure the county board to pull us out of this draw immediately until the farcical situation is redressed. What next start giving them 10 point starts in games?????? Are the other counties going to do anything about this??? 8 teams = 4 tidy 1/4 final games. But instead this lob sided "draw" means that some counties will have to win 4 games to lift Leinster but the wonderful Kilkenny need only show up for 2. :x :x :x

The outcome seems inevitable regardless.

Agree, does seem unnecessarily ridiculous.
Kevin Clancey. Signed out of respect for players and all involved with Offaly.
