Fair enough Paul Watts, that was very good of him to do that.
As for the Meath game, I dont think its a very good Meath side but the Offaly squad is quiet weak. I think we will struggle in far too many areas. The defence is a huge problem area and hopefully they are working hard to address that. Interesting, is Mark Conlon still on the panel. I thought he might have been a bit further up the pecking order that alot of them thats been getting games of late.
Midfield is always a nightmare for Offaly. McManus needs a good fielder with him who isnt lazy. Scott brady would have been my choice at the start of the year based on his performances especially in Leinster club championship. Coughlan is looking like hes doing enough but im hoping he produces the goods when it matters.
The attack is too reliant on McNamee. Anton Sullivan will be a good player, maybe not just yet tho. I would rank him higher than most of the other forwards but he is young and is a future prospect. Sean Ryan can do great things but can be a disaster too. Reynolds picks off a few scores but offers little. He has to be at full forward or nowhere. Casey is a good prospect but im disappointed hes not more consistent when it comes to county level, but he has potential to do damage.
