We've covered this before on the site and obviously people will have different experiences, but if you were to judge every county on their summer bandwagon following I don't think anyone would come out well. Wexford are the only county I know of where a small hardcore crowd would jeer a teenager for missing a free. I certainly wouldn't expect that from any crowd you'd get in Parnell Park.athlumneyboy wrote:
As for Wexford being first fans in Ireland they are a close second to the Dubs who are degrace booing and jeering every time the opposition have a free , they were even jeering at a minute silence at last years Semi final, there is no place in the GAA for this behavior.
I don't want to take this off on a tangent though - this thread is about praise for a very deserving bunch of minor footballers and that's as it should be.
