Unfortunately I was away from the county final, but had proceedings well flagged via text messages.
The Magpie's match report captures the ebb and flow excellently.

I had a feeling Clara would give it a good lash and be there would be a kick of a ball in it at the end.
I wasn't sure that there was a late goal grabber within the Clara ranks, but I'm delighted the way Ross Brady stepped up to the plate.
It looks like the Clara sideline were astute and were a big factor in swinging the game.
You wouldn't have tipped Clara if you heard that the starting forwards would only score 2 points from play.

P.S I'm not surprised to hear Paschal Kellaghan weighed in with his usual quota of cheap shots.
