It's great to see so many teams still in contention for the knock out stages of the championships after two rounds.
Only Shannonbridge (senior) and Ballyfore + Tulamore (intermediate) cannot qualify.
And only Clara (senior) and Rhode + Walsh Island (intermediate) are guaranteed their place in the next stage.
So sure I'll stick my head on the line to get it started!!!!!

Re: Who will make it to the knockout stages??
Hard to disagree with too much of the above - plus it's nice to know that we have a county final to look forward to later in the year ....
I'd give Ballycumber a great chance of turning over Shamrocks this week actually. Shamrocks played well against Rhode but that draw was essentially of little or no use to them and they still have to get a result here and Ballycumber have a good game in them. Certainly at 9/2 I'll be on.
There's not a lot between Erin Rovers and Brigids but if push came to shove, you'd probably have to give the nod to Croghan - and if Gracefield keep going as they are, certainly relegation will be an issue for them yet - though Shannonbridge without Jason Kelly are a poor team who'll struggle to beat anyone.
In the intermediate, a lot depends on who makes themselves available after tonight's game against Lusmagh, but I fancy Birr to give Doon plenty of it this Sunday in the curtain raiser to our junior C match ..
Seriously though, the loss of Fintan Ryan is huge and Birr have a few very decent players available to them this year that they didn't have before. If Donie Ryan (the Birr one) can keep any kind of control on Jimmy Coughlan, and Ryan is flying this year, then I think Birr might raise eyebrows yet again.
Clonbullogue and Raheen will have a lot to do with whether Cocoman is suspended - I presume he is? If so, I'd fancy Raheen to come out of this, but they don't look to be destined for any great things down the road though.

Re: Who will make it to the knockout stages??
Some result for Erin Rovers last night - I knew well they'd give Croghan plenty to think about, but I didn't quite have faith in them to get across the line, hence my tipping the draw in the Tipsters. Delighted for them though - a great attitude as a club.

The Blue and Gold are through to the knockout stages of the intermediate
. We'll have our work cut out with the likes of Doon, Raheen and Island left but still everybody (myself included) found it hard to see anything but a scrap in the relegation battle for Bracknagh but 2 wins and a narrow defeat at the hands of Rhode has got us through.
