Yeh it’s off but very late in the day particularly for students travelling home from college in that weather . I would imagine there’s a good few disgruntled players and parents from both teams .

And wouldn’t blame them.

Clara 7pts
Tullamore 2.6
A bit of an upset here as Tullamore didn’t play seniors and short another few too. The right call protecting players
The standard of the ref in this game was a scandal for both sides and Clara players mentors and supporters were not happy at the end and let the ref know too
Weery had a big win over St Manchans last night and look to be strong contenders .
St Vincent’s vs St Patrick’s should be a good game tomorrow

Heard Bourke has a calf strain which ruled him out. Niall Furlong could have played though or at least togged out in case he was needed. Terrible decision for the goal that was given that got Tullamore back into it. Themselves and Wheery the 2 favourites now.

Why risk players the week before a Leinster semi final . What’s more important . The right decision to rest both players who are fit .
Look what happened Ter Guinan playing an u 20 game and pulls his hamstring . His season is over and is a massive loss to KK tomorrow.. Really feel for him as he has been outstanding for club and county this year

Ter Guinan could have pulled his hamstring just as easily in training. Does everyone stop training in case someone gets injured. It’s part and parcel of contact sports. I heard a number of disgruntled Tullamore fans at the game not happy that they hadn’t even togged out.

Lessons have been learned in Tullamore with regards player welfare . From everything that happened. John Furlong and Cormac Egan a few yrs back . Whether u agree or not or whether the so called so supporters you talk of
The right decision was made Tullamore won didn’t take a chance playing lads in an U 20 game when there is a chance of getting to a Leinster final at stake next week.

The question is the workload put on players. Senior Club training, senior club matches, u20 matches, college training and matches. It's a lot.

The John and Cormac situation was a bit different. They played club minor and u20 on the same week if I recall. We may just agree to disagree. But with a week between the games and the age and fitness levels of them I think a match today and one next week is within reason. They got out of jail today in a very scrappy game. They will be a lot stronger with the 2 lads back for the semis. Unless they get to the Leinster final of course.

Was at the Clara tullamore game yesterday
As a neutral the referee was awful I
Never criticiize them because it's a job I would not like to do . myself but this is up there with Stevie wonder doing airtraffic control at Dublin airport.

I don’t want to be bashing refs either but it’s not the first or last time this has happened with him he genuinely looks like he’s never reffed a game before it’s actually a danger for the safety of players

Decent game in Daingean earlier. Edenderry win by 1 having a man sent off in the first half. Vincent’s only had 2 scorers on the day. Cillian Foran, Dylan Byrne and Kalem Bryant before his sending off looked impressive. Sean Conway and Ryan Kenny the pick of St Vincent’s with 5 points each.

Tullamore hammered a very poor shamrocks side in the quarter final today even had the luxury of taking off lads involved in schools football during the week.
Will be a good game between Tullamore and Edenderry next week
Ferbane will beat St Rynaghs handy in the other semi
