Re: Faithful Pioneers: Offalys Football Breakthrough, 1960/6

I'm sure that if you mentioned it to either of the lads about a couple of GAA orientated shops in each town that they will make every effort possible to get the book into them.I also read today that they have gotten the book into Balcony Books in the Bridge Centre in Tullamore so there's another out...

Re: new football manager

From todays INDO The drawn-out search to find a new Offaly manager could reach an end by Thursday night when the county board meet for the first time since the process descended into chaos. A proposal is now expected and Gerry Cooney is thought to be the favoured candidate once more. Cooney came int...

Re: Clara vs Edenderry 9/10/11

With all the giving out about the Edenderry Gracefield semil-final been bad where does it leave offaly football with Edenderry winning the county final today Where does it leave Offaly football?such a stupid statement, that Edenderry team is very young with plenty of talent untapped by the seniors,m...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Club Championship 2011

Anything other than a relaxation battle was considered a success for Edenderry this year, yes they have a good mix of old and young on the team, don't think anyone would fancy getting them in a semi, all going well and they avoid Rhode, they could well cause an upset!!!Played exceptionally well at times...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Club Championship 2011

Fair play Brian, not many have the nads to come on here and explain moments of madness!!!It's a common thing for people to kick you when things aren't going right for certain individuals. At the end of the day no one deserves abuse over missing a free here or there! At the end of the day your brother h...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Club Championship 2011

Am I the only one who thinks it unlikely that the county board would let Tullamore go down to Intermediate next year? Indeed should they let them go down? Ah here, that is an unreal statement. Now there is a lot of football to be played yet but If that is allowed to happen well then we may as well ...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Club Championship 2011
I think all bar one player has represented Offaly at one stage or another (or at least was a member of a panel)... In regards to giving Rhode a game, well that could be a bit away yet but if there is one team in the county that doesn't mind playing Rhode, it is Edenderry.
For a chan...

Re: Clonmore's McPaddens and Rhode

In Reply to Harpsman they wernt chased or 'recuited' by anyone involved with or from clonmore harps Here's the good gods honest truth. You keep going on about this and you cant seem to get passed it. Rhode Gaa did not chase the McPaddens. In fact the McPaddens asked ME to sort out their transfer to...

Re: mcpaddens for clonmore ?

The rules in relation to transfers have to be looked at big time. Going slightly away from the McPaddens saga, I just read about this O' Loughlin lad who has transferred from his club mountmellick to St Brigids in Dublin. He's a student from the bit I read on the matter and the transfer has gone th...

Edenderry4ever......Jaysus talk about trying to stir sh1t on here.Right these lads are gone from the club...Get over it,no point harping on about it.I'm from the club and yes I was disappointed these lads upped and left but that's life...They couldn't 100% commit to Edenderry GAA so off with them!!I...

Re: Endless summer nights ahead in Offaly

Re: Rhode V Kilmacud

Paddy Power have it at 5/2......Another good bet is usually Niall Mc to score the first goal.....no odds up on PP but I'm sure LS might be able to helo out on this one!!
