Re: Clare looking for an Investigation!
Their goal from Mick Lawlor came about thro' over-carrying (by Ross Munnelly I think) I'm not even going to bother trying to argue with the "diving" comments but the late Laois goal that day came from a long ball into Kevin Fitzpatrick who laid off a fairly dodgy handpass to Lawlor to sco...

Re: Accountability
just your point on Sid over Camross did they not get to the county final the year he was there and the year he left they didn't win it either, He trained Camross two years - 2010 they were well beaten in the final, 2011 did nothing. Did not win it the year after he left though, it was last year the...

Populations taken from the 2011 Census - North Portarlington: 2,372, versus Shannonbridge : 299, and Clonmacnois : 336. Someone with more local knowledge of the Portarlington area might know if Hammerlane (565) and Ballyshear (377) are in Gracefield or Raheen territory. Hammerlane just outside of m...

Re: New championship structure
Hesh, would it be fair to say that under the Laois system , (which I think the Offaly system might replicate eventually) , the Championship does not start until August? Yes And that the league starts in late Spring, running thorugh the Summer? Yes If so, do the clubs have any access to their club p...

Re: New championship structure
Just saw this, it's the system in Laois hurling i.e. 8 senior, 8 senior B, 8 intermediate and 8 junior. However, it's a knockout system with a losers qualification group that's used to play the championships. That means 4 rounds to complete the championship. Could Offaly CB possibly be thinking of u...

He did POTH, I was at it (in Portlaoise), he nearly stole them a draw they wouldn't have deserved too. hear you have lost a fine young hurler over the weekend Hesh may he R.I.P . Not wanting to hi...

Re: U21 hurling v Laois, Wednesday 5th June, Portlaoise
i think two minor wins in 40 years is going to your head Disel, you as a laoisman should know well winning minor means nothing when it comes to senior as laois underage football was the best in leinster and ireland in the late 90's and early 2000's but yet came to nothing at senior. A bit off topic...
