Re: Offaly Senior Football 2026
All the talk of discontent in the camp... this year clearly demonstrates that the opposite is true and we have the panel of players who are there, who want to be there and who are working together for their team mates and their management.. bear in mind this is our championship and all games to this ...

Re: Club Football 2026
There was an incident with St Martins of wexford last year where they were in the leinster hurling and leinster football and they prioritised the hurling putting out a completely different team in the football first round and none of the hurlers played the football.. now fair enough they fielded a ...

Re: Club Football 2026
Madness to blame Raff for Jack Egan and Leon. Jaysus he must have been awful bad if he made Egan emigrate to AUS. Leon was with Louth due to work commitments the dog on the street knows that.
Ferbane I'm sure will come good very few teams will play their hand in a league campaign anyway ...

Re: Club Football 2026
How can you say they are awful poor this year? Based off what exactly? League games down 10+ county players? Tullamore will likely win championship again because they are better drilled have better management and Dont have as many dual players. Ferbane will be the only team that will cause them ...

Re: Club Football 2026
Iv heard this morning from a fairly reliable source that Leon Fox, Joe Maher, Ronan Maguire, Jack Egan & Bernard Corcoran have all returned to play for Ferbane this year.
And there were fellas in this forum that tried to tell me Ger Rafferty wasn’t an issue in Ferbane the last few years ...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2026
would it be sacrilegious to suggest we might be better off finishing 4th this year? another year into the physical development we will be much stronger in 2027? a physiched up munster team in croke park might not be the best idea?
I can see how you might think it would do us harm but it wont ...

Re: U20 hurling 2026
Having a player half committing to 2 sports means he wont develop full potential in either, he'll also struggle with full integration in the team and the team will suffer as a result, he also takes up a squad place where we could be developing a fringe player.. he'll also piss off a player thats ...

Re: U20 hurling
What is wrong though ? Is it population, is it club coaching, is it underage offaly coaching?
Its very frustrating when you see the set up in faitnful fields and the work some clubs are doing.
I take our own club great work been done but im not sure if we have any young talent like a ...

Re: Offaly Senior Football 2026
which all stems from us winning a few all irelands in the 70s 80s and 90s when players prepared for games by drinking pints and smoking.
More rubbish.
Only a flash in the pan...lasting 40 years, when Offaly were contesting All Irelands.
Whatever preparation Offaly were doing, it was ...

Re: Offaly Senior Football 2026
Poor attendence is due to glory hunting offaly "supporters" who have unrealistic expectstions from a county 24th on population list and split in 2 with hurling and football.. which all stems from us winning a few all irelands in the 70s 80s and 90s when players prepared for games by drinking pints ...

Re: Offaly Senior Football 2026
Paul rouse is a disgrace for saying that as it's literally not true ....
You're gonna get accused now of being me or that Joey lad 😂 i love that the management are overtraining the players causing injuries.. i know several lads with injuries, few clubs have a good few lads, similar injuries and ...

I'm writing this on my for the Wicklow London game

About forwards that would not scare
